Joe Massaro, owner of Massaro Communications Consulting LLC. is a determined advocate for the responsible development of our natural resources and creation of middle class jobs for Americans. He currently works in the energy sector with a strong focus on oil & gas development through hydraulic fracturing & horizontal drilling. He currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
A Look Back:
Massaro graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2011 with a degree in public relations with a concentrate in journalistic writing. In 2011 he started working for the start-up company, Off the Vine LLC (OTV). OTV was responsible for the development of WineryPatron.com and WiSa America which, Massaro helped bring to fruition.
A year later in 2012 he left OTV and began working for Energy in Depth (EID). Launched by the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) in 2009, EID is a research, education and public outreach campaign focused on getting the facts out about the promise and potential of responsibly developing America’s onshore energy resource base – especially abundant sources of oil and natural gas from shale and other “tight” formations across the country.
Most recently, Massaro developed the website, ShaleGasNOW (SGN). SGN is a one stop shop for people seeking more information on shale development taking place in the United States & the world. Massaro is currently working on creating a database for all the studies done on hydraulic fracturing and shale development. The comprehensive database is slated to be completed this year.
Massaro fell into a natural niche within the oil & gas industry where he continues to work with EID on a regular basis as well as a few other clients. To stay updated on what Joe Massaro is up to feel free to shoot him an email: Joe@MassaroCommunications.com.
A Look ahead:
With an invested interest in the energy sector Massaro is always looking to work with new clients to develop and implement communications strategies. This site was developed to showcase his current projects and interests. Massaro will work to regularly update the blog section on this site with current events he finds interesting in the energy sector and not.
